Annual Volunteer Service Project: Girls on the Run 5K Race

For this year's service project, AAWGT will support the Girls on the Run 5K Race on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Anne Arundel Community College. GOTR is a current and past grantee. There are 1,500 girls from the 3rd to 8th grade expected to compete, so it should be a fun and entertaining event. Volunteers are needed to serve as course monitors, help with traffic control, and other duties.
The race starts at 9 AM this year.

410-703-3554 .  AAGT Volunteers will meet at Garry's Grill in Severna Park, just a short drive from AACC after the event. The address is 553 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd.

Please consider coming out for this exciting and worthwhile event. The girls will all appreciate your cheering them on!
