In anticipation of International Women's Day on March 8th, we will be focusing on global efforts to improve the lives and women and girls worldwide. Our speaker, Ritu Sharma, is Co-Founder & President of Women Thrive Worldwide. She will speak about the work of her organization and what they're doing to create a world in which women and men work together as equals so that they, their families, and their communities can thrive. 

Ritu is a leading voice on international women's issues and an eloquent public speaker, drawing on her personal stories, travels, unusual insights, and 'out-of-the-box' thinking that inspires her audiences to get involved in changing women's lives for the better. Ritu lives in Annapolis, and is looking forward to sharing her experiences and learnings with the women of her community. 

The session will be moderated by The Baltimore Sun columnist Susan Reimer, who is also an Annapolis resident.
